AA Rosette Awarded Restaurant

Food is an essential part of your stay at Bishopsgate.

In our AA Rosette awarded restaurant, all meals are freshly prepared by our Chefs, using local produce wherever possible.

Two menus provide a wide choice, including fresh local Fish, succulent Welsh Lamb, Welsh Beef and Gressingham Duck.

The number of local people, who regularly use the restaurant, bear witness to the quality and value for money provided.

Some examples of dishes regularly on our menus:

  • Welsh Lamb Rump - served with Fondant Potato and finished with a Welsh Meade and Redcurrant Jus
  • Oven Baked Tenderloin of Pork with a Herb and Mustard Crumb, served with a Creamy Wholegrain Mustard Sauce
  • Pan Fried Duck Breast on Braised Red Cabbage with Dates and Ginger and a Spiced Wine Jus

We always have a good selection of home-made desserts & Welsh cheeses.
